World-wide solo album release:
"You, Me, and Adelaide"
...capturing a place and time
As a child, Kevin Kareckas could identify the differences between the sirens of all the fire trucks in his home town. His passion for sound and cultivation of the melodies and repetition found in everyday life is a driving force for his work. Kevin plays string instruments, mostly. He is captivated by the ukulele and dabbles with guitar, banjo, mandolin, and bass.
Inspiration for Kevin's writing comes from a blend of physical environment and the people that inhabit space.
...cultivating musical platforms
Inputs and outputs have always been easy for him to visualize. It's no surprise that Kevin finds passion in studio recording and live sound. He is currently working with Nikki Adams of Rutland, Vermont. Nikki Adams is a fellow educator and musician. The duo met a few years ago and exhibit an infectious energy when placed in the same room. Nikki recently released her self-titled EP, which Kevin engineered and produced. It's available on many major streaming sources such as apple music and spotify.
